Preparation & Guidance

Shot lists, fabric care, and colour consistency. Raja Rajabot provides detailed guidance to ensure your textiles photograph beautifully. Rajabot's expertise in artisan textile documentation means every detail is considered.

"Artisan textiles deserve documentation that honors their craft. We photograph hand-block prints, embroidered homeware, and handwoven pieces with the precision and care they deserve—because every thread tells a story."

Fabric Preparation

  • Washing: Gentle wash to remove sizing and dust; air-dry completely before shoot.
  • Pressing: Press fabrics on low heat to remove wrinkles; avoid flattening texture.
  • Storage: Keep fabrics clean and folded on acid-free tissue until shoot day.

Colour Consistency

  • Lighting: Consistent natural light or professional studio lighting to avoid colour shifts.
  • Reference Swatches: Provide colour reference cards for each dye lot or print batch.
  • White Balance: Calibrated camera settings and colour grading to match your brand standards.
